AC/DC: Lead guitarist Angus Young and wife Ellen enjoy lunch at Elizabeth Quay, star signs autographs for fans
AC/DC megastar Angus Young left fans thunderstruck as he went to lunch in Perth on Saturday.
The legendary lead guitarist was spotted tucking into a dish including chips and salad while dining out with his wife Ellen at The Reveley in Elizabeth Quay.
Keen fans waited outside for their idol, who was dressed casually in a grey T-shirt and jeans.
After 45 minutes to an hour over lunch, Young and his wife then made their way around the quay when a youngster could no longer resist and yelled after the star: “Mr Young, Mr Young, could you sign this please?”
An excited Noah Gianotti, from Yokine, also walked away with two guitar picks.
The eight-year-old’s bravery led to several more fans getting autographs — and as he has been throughout his WA stay, he was more than happy to sign.
Young has been enjoying some much-needed rest time in Perth after thrilling fans at their sold out Optus Stadium concert on Thursday.
The band — whose hits include Thunderstruck, You Shook Me All Night Long and Back In Black — touched down in WA on Tuesday and have been seen out and about most days.
AC/DC play another sold out Power Up gig at Optus Stadium on Monday night before leaving for Brisbane.
