Cardi B’s ex rapper Offset shot outside popular Florida casino

Rapper Offset has been shot in a frightening encounter near a popular Florida casino.

A representative for the musician has confirmed he was injured when gunfire erupted near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Circumstances around the shooting are unclear.

“We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored,” a spokesperson for Offset told People.

Offset was married to fellow rapper Cardi B, but the couple officially divorced earlier this year after Cardi B filed for divorce in 2024.

The pair share three children.

Seminole Police Department said it was aware of an incident that occurred in a valet area after 7pm on Monday outside the casino and confirmed a person with non life-threatening injuries was transported to a nearby hospital.

“Right now it looks like he’s going to be okay. He’s at Memorial Regional Hospital and is not in the ICU,” a source told People.

Police say the “the situation was contained quickly” and two people had been detained.
