Heart Foundation’s Women’s Hearts Breakfast: Socials gallery from important morning soiree at Optus Stadium

Lauren HighamThe West Australian

The Women’s Hearts Breakfast borrowed the Black Swan Room at Optus Stadium to shine a spotlight on women’s heart health in Western Australia.

Dr Helena Viola — Heart Foundation WA General Manager and former research recipient of Heart Foundation funding — hosted the event, which saw over 100 special guests from Government Ministers to Heart Foundation donors and supporters.

Governor of Western Australia and the Heart Foundation WA’s Patron, His Excellency, the Honourable Christopher Dawson and Co-Patron, Mrs Darrilyn Dawson were also in attendance.

A diverse group of panellists, moderated by The West Australian’s Ben Harvey, sparked interactive and engaging conversations about the importance of raising awareness of heart disease by highlighting the importance warning signs, risk factors and regular Heart Health Checks.
