From finding the right block size and home design, to saving up money and picking out a loan, the homebuilding process can make a dent in your piggy bank.

It is a common concern of budding young homebuilders that building their dream home is simply out of reach and is too expensive.

But this may not actually be the case. Aspiring first homeowners, as well as downsizers, upsizers, investors and everyone in between, can save $10,000 on their dream home this summer thanks to a promotion run by Western Australian property developer Cedar Woods.

The Summer Lovin’ campaign gives homebuyers a chance to secure a range of select blocks at nine participating Cedar Woods estates across the Perth metropolitan area at a discounted rate until March 31, 2020.

The estates involved are Ariella Private Estate in Brabham, Bushmead in Bushmead, The Brook at Byford and Byford on the Scarp in Byford, Emerald Park Private Estate in Wellard, Millars Landing and The Rivergums in Baldivis, Harrisdale Green in Harrisdale, and Karmara Private Estate in Piara Waters.

Cedar Woods Western Australia State Manager Ben Rosser said the campaign was its largest in the state and a strong incentive for buyers to consider a Cedar Woods community when home hunting.

“Now is the perfect time for buyers to enter into one of our estates with the $10,000 savings helping to put their dream home within reach,” he said.

“It’s a particularly great time for first homebuyers to buy with the proposed First Home Loan Deposit Scheme, which came into effect from January 1, 2020. The scheme will provide eligible Australian first homebuyers access to a five per cent deposit without lenders mortgage insurance.”

Spread across north and south of Perth, the nine estates which make up the campaign run up and down the state’s coastline and showcase a variety of lifestyle opportunities, community driven designs and block sizes.

“Whether you’re a first homebuyer, a young family or looking to upgrade or downsize, you’ll feel right at home at any one of our Cedar Woods communities,” Mr Rosser said.
