Overlooking Bunbury’s Koombana Bay and boasting an upstairs entertainment and indoor spa area, this grand penthouse apartment features a true north-facing view of the beach.

The Aspire Apartments complex was completed in 2020, with penthouse 14/21 Holman Street comprising front row seats to the ocean thanks to two storeys of glass to maximise the view.

Sticking to the theme of simplicity, the apartment is pure white throughout, contrasted by clay-coloured tile flooring.

This earthy hue continues in the bedrooms with cosy grey/brown carpeting, while the bathrooms are tiled from floor to ceiling in a marble-effect brown, standing out perfectly against the white cabinets and sinks.

The apartment is an impressive 550sqm, with another 100sqm added by the entertaining deck, according to Century 21 Advance Realty Principal and Director Paul Duffy.

“Once you enter the front door you are greeted with the first wow factor – the expansive open-plan living area,” he said. “The first thing you see are the expansive glass windows over two storeys, leading out to the balcony with uninterrupted sweeping views of the ocean.

“The property’s kitchen contains stone benchtops, Bosch appliances, a big walk-in pantry and glass splashbacks reflecting the ocean in the glass.”

Mr Duffy said the ground level contained four large bedrooms all with their own ensuite, while the master bedroom is the only room in the home with north-facing ocean views, as well and its very own private balcony to take in the picturesque Koombana Bay.

The extra-wide sliding door puts the room in touch with nature and is perfect to let in the summer breeze, while the freestanding bath is also a big plus.

“Travelling upstairs, there is the fifth room that can be used as a study or the maid’s quarters, as it also has its own ensuite,” Mr Duffy said.

“This room leads to the activity room with its own spa, great for entertaining.”

Mr Duffy said the apartment was well secured and contained a guest entry foyer with a lift to take residents to their floor, where they are met with an expansive common area boasting views of the Leschenault Estuary and the Bunbury CBD.

“The complex has its own gym, keyless security, secure undercroft parking and a six-star energy rating,” he said.

The new Dolphin Discovery Centre is also located close by, while the foreshore has immaculate access to the beach and changing facilities for people with disability, according to Mr Duffy.

“Anyone who likes the penultimate property with luxury apartment and city living on the beach in Australia would love this home, as well as someone who wants to get away from the rat race and have a holiday home in the South West or somewhere peaceful to retire,” he said.

“Bunbury is less than a two-hour drive to Perth and is a 40-minute drive to Busselton, with the new Busselton Airport it is also bringing plenty of tourists to the region and a whole lot of growth.

“Bunbury is Western Australia’s second largest city and has everything Perth has to offer in many ways, but we are much closer to many more wineries and everything the South West has to offer.”
