It was a three-year process of collaboration and conversation that brought cross-cultural design exhibition Kurunpa Kunpu | Strong Spirit to life.

Featuring the work of Tanya Singer, Errol Evans and Trent Jansen, the body of collectable furniture art forms comes after an exchange between the artists where they spent time in each other’s communities and engaged with their respective cultural practices and traditions.

Curator Glenn Iseger-Pilkington hosted a reception for the trio at Fremantle Arts Centre, where guests had the opportunity to get up close with the pieces and enjoy Catered catering from Republic of Fremantle Distilling.

Kurunpa Kunpu | Strong Spirit is on show at FAC until July 23.
