Kangas struggled to find flow and Griffins went into the first break with a comfortable six-goal lead.

Kangas seemed to find their feet in the second and play a much more settled game.

Annie Wyatt and Poet Smargiassi were strong in their positions and provided multiple plays for the team.

It was an even quarter with Griffins going to the main break five goals ahead.

In the third quarter, Kangas managed to reduce the lead to two goals.

The fourth quarter had both sides playing a defensive game with multiple turnovers and low goal conversions.

Kangas managed to level the scores but Griffins regained control with four quick goals on their way to a fourth win of the season.

The late flurry helped Griffins cement a 28-24 victory.

Kangas goal attack Marmion displayed accurate shooting and defensive work throughout the game but her side fell short.

In the other B1 fixture, Narrikup 7 were comfortable 53-11 winners over Royals Saints 5.
