Exciting Albany filly Strathmore Rose will return to racing on Saturday at Belmont Park.

The Roy Rogers-trained three-year-old burst on to the scene this season with four victories in Albany, including a slashing maiden win by more than seven lengths.

Strathmore Rose last raced in May when winning in Albany and will resume first-up without a trial in a 1000m graduation handicap race with Chris Parnham in the saddle.

Meanwhile rising galloper The Spruiker will be looking to make it five wins in a row for Albany trainer Steve Wolfe on Saturday.

The three-year-old is rising quickly through the grades and will step up into a 72+ ratings race with Shaun McGruddy aboard.
