The Great Southern is full of selfless community members who are the lifeblood of their local football leagues.

In an ongoing series, the WA Football Commission and The Extra are recognising their efforts.

Here is the latest volunteer of the week.

Jen Whittle is a life member of the Railways Football and Sporting Club after her long, continued support and work to both the men’s and women’s football competitions in the region.

The current registrar of RFSC, Ms Whittle is usually found in the office doing paperwork for all grades on game days and ensures home games run smoothly.

Not only at work during season, Jen does a mountain of work for her club in the off-season and is now heavily involved with the women’s side of the game both with Railways and at representative level.

She has held different positions on the committee over the years and is a valued member of the RFSC family.

Ms Whittle chose to have a $50 voucher to her local coffee shop, The Naked Bean Coffee Roasters in Albany.

Thank you to Craig Frost for nominating her and recognising the great work that she does.
