Wellington and Reeves sales reps pool portion of profits to donate $2200 to Foodbank Albany

Sales representatives of Wellington and Reeves Albany last month pooled together part of their profits from residential sales to donate to a worthy cause.

Amounting to $2200 in cash, the profits were handed over to Foodbank Albany on August 21 in an effort to help out the not-for-profit, which provide emergency food relief for those doing it tough.

Real estate agent Paul Armstrong presented the giant cheque to staff at the Cockburn Road facility.

“We’re happy to donate a huge cheque to Albany Foodbank for $2200,” he said.

“We’ve been fundraising for the last month and are happy to hand this over to Foodbank Albany.”

Taking to social media regarding the generous donation, Wellington and Reeves said a “little bit from each sale added up to something meaningful”.

“We’re very proud of our team for giving back and helping support local people doing it tough,” the post read.

“Thank you to Foodbank Albany for the important work you do in our community.”
