A Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang member has been charged for allegedly impersonating a soldier.
As part of Strike Force Benson, a New South Wales Police operation responding to criminal activity involving the Hells Angels, detectives learned of a bikie who allegedly identified himself as a former member of the Australian Defence Force.
With assistance from the ADF, investigations revealed the man had no records of military service with any branch of the ADF.
The strike force was first established in August 2025 by State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad.
Raptor Squad officers arrested the 41-year-old man about 3.40pm on April 21 in Peelwood, located about three hours west of Sydney.
He was taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with falsely representing to be returned soldier, sailor of airman.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday.
Investigations into the Hells Angels continue under Strike Force Benson.
