A Busselton man accused of indecently and sexually assaulting nine men over a period of eight years is set to face trial in the District Court. Morris Leonard Deale appeared in Bunbury Magistrate’s Court on Monday on a string of charges that included 21 counts of indecent assault and one count of sexual assault where he maintained his not guilty pleas. Mr Deale was initially accused of 20 counts of indecent assault but was charged with a further count stemming from an alleged incident in west Busselton between 2017 and 2019. Detectives from Child Abuse Squad will allege Mr Deale indecently and sexually assaulted nine men aged between 16 and 33 years of age from 2012 to 2020. The matter was committed to the District Court for a trial listing hearing on September 29, with Mr Deale’s bail extended.
