Beach sweepers awash with enthusiasm
Busselton Naturaliste Club will hold its annual beach sweep at Redgate Beach this Sunday.
Following the winter storms, a wide range of interesting marine life can be found washed up on the shores including waste thrown overboard from ships and occasional seabirds.
The excursion is suited to families, with young children or people keen to know more about their local marine environment.
People who are interested in participating are encouraged to meet at 9am on Sunday at Redgate’s main car park.
There is still time to book for Busselton Naturaliste Club’s mid-year lunch on July 19 at the Bull and Bush Tavern in Boyanup.
The club has a bus leaving from the car park at the former Busselton Visitor Centre on Peel Terrace at 11am.
