A security guard accused of assaulting a police officer, possessing MDMA and obstructing police at the end of school celebrations in Dunsborough has pleaded guilty to two charges in Busselton Magistrate’s Court.

Jordan Paul Mitchell pleaded guilty to possession of a prohibited drug (MDMA) and obstructing public officers but not guilty to one charge of assault of a public officer.

Six officers were directly involved in questioning the accused at “the Zone” in Quindalup before he allegedly attempted to flee.

Mr Mitchell’s trial on the assault charge is set for the Busselton Magistrate’s Court on September 4.
