Broadwater Farm wedding venue catches the bouquet

Hosting weddings almost every weekend, Old Broadwater Farm has been helping couples celebrate their love for about six years.

Earlier this month the venue had its own cause for celebration, being recognised as the best reception venue in WA at the Australian Bridal Industry Academy awards.

Venue manager Ashlee Mansfield said she was pleased to be recognised.

“We’ve worked to make the process smooth sailing over the years,” she said.

“We try to make it so there’s no challenges for the couple.

“The recognition of our hard work is always nice and just to know our couples had such a good experience as well.”

Built in the early 1800s, the venue was first used as a homestead for surrounding farmland. It has since been restored to include multiple locations within the venue and hosts about 80 weddings a year.

ABIA award winners were determined according to the ratings provided by past brides and grooms across more than 30 categories.

Old Broadwater Farm took out the category with a rating of 96.64 per cent.
