The Busselton Bullets Basketball Club have a new championship team — the under-12s are undefeated in 17 games, winning three championships.
After defeating regional rivals Bunbury in a nail-biting two-point finish at the regional grand final the boys have gone from strength to strength, culminating in a six-point division 2 State championship win over Joondalup Wolves. The club hasn’t won all three championships in any age group for more than 20 years. At the country championships Archie Kirkham and James De Morton were selected in the all-star starting five.
Busselton Bullets coach Troy Bennet said the team had focused on passing and demonstrating a patient offence.
