Families are invited to kick off the festive season at Cornerstone Christian College when the school’s annual Christmas in the Bush event returns next month.

A popular fixture of the event is the interactive Nativity Walk through the bush, complete with actors and animals.

There will also be live music and carols, pony rides, bouncy castles and face painting.

“We will have a school-run sausage sizzle and cake stall and a few fundraising items to help us fund our new playground,” a school spokeswoman said. “Come and enjoy the ambience and lights, sing along with the carols and kick off the festive season with us.”

Market stalls will be selling a range of items ideal for Christmas gifts, including succulent plants, gourmet food, clothing, candles, artwork, jewellery and woodwork.

Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and chairs, as well as cash.

There are no EFTPOS facilities. Food and drinks will be available all night.

Offerings include a range of food trucks including Yakitori (Asian fusion), Spice Odysee (Indian), Mattia Italian Vibes, Margaret River Burger Co, an ice cream van and the Yahava Coffee Van.

The event will take place on December 2 from 5pm.
