Last week former Kookaburra player Tristram Woodhouse held a two day training camp at the Busselton Hockey Stadium for players looking to compete in the Under-15 and Under-18 State Hockey Trials.

The trials are set to take place in Perth over the next few weeks and many keen hockey players from all over the South West took up the coaching opportunity to freshen up their skills and learn valuable tactics.

The Busselton Hockey Association will see many of its players trial for State teams this year and the clinic with Woodhouse aimed to aid them in their hockey confidence.

Round two of Summer Hockey will also go full speed ahead in the coming weeks, COVID restrictions permitting, with a large number of players and teams registering for the Thursday and Friday night social competitions.

The summer hockey season is set to run for six weeks and will whip players into shape for the winter hockey season.

New and current players can contact Busselton hockey club to register for the winter season at hockey@busseltonhockey.org.au.
