Car maintenance for Capes youth
Capes young adults will be a shoo-in with car maintenance next week when a SHIFT Youth Crew gives them tips on maintaining and running vehicles.
Participants will learn basic car skills, including changing a tyre, checking oil and general day-to-day maintenance.
Youth development supervisor Angela Griffin said the workshop was for people who had recently got their L-plates or licence.
“We have a qualified mechanic coming down to the Busselton Skate Park for a two-hour workshop to help young people look after their cars and hopefully enable them to save some money in the long run,” she said.
Youth development trainee Hannah Armstrong said SHIFT was a consulting and advocating group for people aged 12-24.
The Car Maintenance 101 workshop will be on Wednesday.
