Chance to wet a line again with Fishability

Fishability Busselton will restart its weekly social fishing program on Tuesday.
The organisation helps people with disabilities participate in social, recreational fishing.
Busselton program co-ordinator Michelle Lee said the events were important to children and adults in the community living with disabilities.
“It’s an outdoor social event that also helps with fine motor skills,” she said.
“It’s also a very peaceful and mindful activity.
“A lot of our volunteers also participate for the mental health benefit.”
The group will meet at the end of Burgee Cove, Geographe, on Tuesday from 4pm- 5.30pm for the first session of the season.
“We fish from September through until May and then meet up again after the wetter winter months,” Ms Lee said.
The group meet at The Deck on alternating Tuesdays from 10am-2.30pm.
All equipment is supplied.
