Various Busselton businesses will this month pair with the Building Busselton Town Team to provide late-night shopping for the group’s Christmas in the City event.

More than 30 businesses — stretched along Queen and Prince streets, as well as Fig Tree Lane — will offer festive cheer, food and products throughout the evening for all locals and visitors to enjoy.

Building Busselton Town Team member Lisa Massey said several school groups and buskers would perform in the city for the event to create a fun and sociable atmosphere.

“After this year, with all its difficulties, this is a great opportunity for families to come into town and be with each other while they shop, eat, and enjoy some of the most special Christmas festivities,” Mrs Massey said.

The event aims to support local businesses in the city hit hard by COVID-19. Fusion Jewellers co-director Kerrie Lander said her store would be open to the public for the joyous event.
