City of Busselton preparing for epic reuse and recycle Sellathon event

The City of Busselton is gearing up for the annual Signal Park Sellathon, a huge open market that is all about valuing the reuse of items otherwise destined for landfill. Signal Park on the Busselton Foreshore will be taken over by Sellathon stalls, from 8am to noon on Saturday, March 9.. City of Busselton mayor Phill Cronin said “This is a great opportunity to declutter the house or shed of items that are no longer needed. Why not make some spare cash while doing your bit for the environment!” Mr Cronin said the Sellathon was an exciting opportunity to rummage for a bargain while supporting the recycle and reuse ethos. Hosted by the city, the event is free for sellers and buyers. However, stall registration is essential. Register a Sellathon stall online at events.humanitix.com/signal-park-sellathon. Alternatively, a paper registration form is available from the city’s administration building at 2 Southern Drive, Busselton. Stall set up is from 7am and buyers are welcome from 8am.
