The Indian Ocean Longboard Club will return to competition on Saturday at Yallingup main break from 7am.

All new members are welcome to attend with competitors meeting at the Yallingup carpark for heat entry.

Indian Ocean Longboard Club president Paul Burke welcomed back all IOLC members, both new and old.

“I’m looking forward to seeing everyone dusting off the cobwebs and enjoying a bit of friendly competition,” he said.

A strong swell is expected tomorrow with the event shaping to be an ideal warm-up for the 2020 Yal Mal with rising stars looking to develop competition form ahead of the iconic event which will run December 5-6.

Quicksilver is sponsoring the event with merchandise and boards available for those interested in taking up the sport.
