Doubles mark 10th anniversary

Busselton Dunsborough Times

The Geographe Bay Table Tennis Club is celebrating 10 years, marking the milestone with two drawn doubles competitions.

The first team competition was played at the Busselton Community and Youth Centre on Wednesday as part of the club’s birthday celebrations.

The competition will continue next Wednesday, with several service presentations to be made after the match.

As part of the celebration, the club will also launch its history page on the Geographe Bay Table Tennis Club website.

This history has been extensively researched and compiled by founding captain Neil Coy with help from several long-term club members.

Mr Coy said while the history was intended for the club website, several print-out copies would also be available on the night.

Mr Coy encouraged current and former players to come together for supper and presentations after the competition on Wednesday between 8.15pm and 9.30pm.
