Factions battle at carnival

Busselton Dunsborough Times

Our Lady of the Cape Primary School held its annual swimming carnival on February 22, with students showing fun, friendship and great results in the pool.

Year 4-6 students were encouraged to compete, and with help from parents and staff it made for a great event.

Geographe faction won the carnival with the most points in a fierce and fun competition.

Ruby Eastaugh and Banjo Jennings-Hopkins were named Year 4 champions.

Year 5 champions were Isabella Bidesi and Rhys Antonio.

Sienna Currie and Sam Jennings-Hopkins were named the Year 6 champions.

The school is now gearing up for the inter-school swimming competition, which will take place at the South West Sports Centre in Bunbury next month.
