The Busselton Cars and Coffee meets have been growing steadily since the first one nearly five years ago.

There is no formal club behind the popular meet up for local car enthusiasts with events run by a small community of dedicated and passionate friends.

The regular events welcome all car enthusiasts which results in an enormous variety of vehicles on display.

At the event on Sunday, at Lou Weston Oval, there were nearly 200 very special cars on display.

Motorcyclists were also welcome, and there are usually a couple of bikes parked up amongst the exotic cars.

Wandering around the oval on Sunday there was an impressive range of vehicles being displayed.

Lyndsay Arnold drove to the event with his wife, in their bright yellow Ford Roadster.

“These events are a great way to meet like-minded people, without the politics of a club,” he said.

Adding some festive spirit to the event was Trevor and Midge Avery with their HG Ute, completed with a 6m-tall Santa riding in the tray.

“I sometimes drive around at Christmas time with Santa in the back, the kids love to see it,” Mr Avery said.

The Busselton Cars and Coffee events take place on the first Sunday of each month.
