Dance Works Dunsborough will host a series of free dance classes on Wednesday.

Co-principal Betty Huxtable said the classes aimed to give would-be dancers a taste of what Dunsborough Dance Works was all about.

“We understand it can be a big commitment joining a new activity, so the pop-up is an opportunity for the local community to give our classes a try,” she said.

“It is a great way for potential new students to meet our teachers and get a taste of what it’s like to be a part of our dynamic and non-competitive classes.” Dance Works Dunsborough’s style of dance is commercial jazz, with a focus on movement and enjoyment, without the pressure of exams or competition.

Classes will run from 9.30am- 6.30pm at St George’s Community Hall in Dunsborough, with sessions for tiny tots (3-5-year-olds), juniors (6-9-year-olds), intermediates (10-14-year-olds) and teens/ladies (15-plus).
