Free tickets to food event

Capes residents have the chance to score free tickets to the 2019 Western Australia Gourmet Escape.

Event organisers are offering a pair of complimentary tickets to 750 locals from Busselton to Augusta. The tickets will allow residents to attend The Gourmet Village at Leeuwin Estate Winery on Sunday, November 17.

Registrations open today and will close on June 30 or once the allocation is exhausted.

Successful applicants will be emailed in early August with confirmation.

Event director Katrina King said while this year’s festival program and talent were still to be announced, Gourmet Village visitors could expect a feast of food, wine, beer and entertainment.

“We’ll be announcing this year’s talent line-up and program in July, but I can confirm that stars of the culinary world will once again feature in workshops, demonstrations, conversations and book signings across the Village over the weekend,” she said.
