Fun film festival moved to Aus Day

Over the Fence Comedy Film Festival will return to Busselton for a special Australia Day screening as part of Acting Up’s courtyard cinema summer series.

The screening, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, January 27, will instead screen at Art Geo tonight as a special Australia Day celebration and includes a free sausage sizzle in the ticket price.

The 20th edition of the Comedy Film Festival will showcase 14 short comedy films, taking on quirky and humorous conundrums.

Acting Up’s Terry Thompson said while Over the Fence was suitable for adults, a series of short children’s clips would show before the screening.

Mr Thompson encouraged attendees to bring their own beanbags or low chairs.

Bean bag hire, bar, candy and popcorn will be available on the night and pizzas are available for pre-order. Doors open 7.15pm for a 7.45pm start.
