Dunsborough Football Club celebrated the start of the Onshore Cup season with a fundraiser at Dunsborough Playing Fields last Friday night, raising about $30,000 towards the club’s proposed club room extension.

Auskick kicked off the night with its first session on the big ground, before the Mulies defeated rebranded Vasse Kangas.

Netball and basketball families also got involved playing a game of mixed netball, while Dunsborough Football Club former president and long-time supporter Julie Fairclough was awarded life membership.

Fundraising co-ordinator Vicky Collins said the night was hugely successful with a 100 club introduced on the night where 100 small local businesses contributed a sponsorship to the club.
