An Ambrose golf fundraiser for Cancer Council Australia to help breast cancer patients will take place at Par 3 golf course on Saturday, February 23, beginning at 2pm.

Teams will be picked for a chance to win a two-night stay at Aqua Beach Resort for four people valued at $1000, a one-night stay at Ramada for two people valued at $300, jewellery from Fusion Jewellers valued at $400, or a voucher for Sea Serene valued at $100.

Papillon Lingerie director Cecilia McCarron has dedicated her life to helping breast cancer patients by selling post-operation lingerie and is organising the fun event. Mrs McCarron was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 after a routine mammogram.

“I urge all women to go and get a mammogram, they are free over the age of 40,” she said.

Tickets are $80 at Par 3, ensuring entry, food, a round of golf and a complimentary drink.
