Good summer vibes at Yalls
Yalls Summer Fest returns this December, with interstate acts Northeast Party House and Lime Cordiale announced as the headlines.
The line-up announcement on Sunday also featured indie pop performers Ivey, Approachable Members of Your Local Community and Seaside.
The event will be held in the lower gardens of Caves House Hotel on December 7.
The event also gives local acts Brayden Sibbald and the Get Down Club DJ an opportunity to build their exposure and fan base.
Dunsborough musician Sibbald said he was “super excited” to play Yalls Fest.
“I think it’s awesome that the festival is happening and bringing bigger acts down here. I’m a fan of the line-up,” he said.
Northeast Party House’s South West performance could not come at a better time.
They have released a new single, Magnify, and have a new album out in September.
Event manager Jayne Pendal said fellow headliners, Lime Cordiale, were a perfect fit for the festival, with the act often showcasing their love for the ocean and sustainability.
“We chose a line-up that would attract both local and travelling festival goers, while still encompasses that Yallingup vibe,” she said.
Last year’s event sold out, and Caves House Hotel director Neil Jilley said they had worked to evolve the event for its 2019 follow-up.
“As it was our first festival of this size, we have worked hard to acknowledge the areas of improvement and make this year bigger and better than last,” he said.
Yalls Summer Fest kicks off the busy summer season of festivities in the South West region.
