Residents and visitors are being encouraged to come down and have some fun at the second Disabled Surfers Association Let’s Go Surfing Day for the season.

The event will be held at Bunker Bay on Saturday, January 14, and is a free day at the beach for people of all ages and surfing abilities.

Volunteers are always needed and surfing knowledge is useful but not a necessity.

At the last event in December there were about 160 people on the beach, with participants often travelling from across the South West and from as far away as Pemberton and Collie.

Supported by Tas’ Bakery, Busselton Water, DBC, Busselton Ice, Motorfest and IGA Margaret River, the events have been a staple in the region for years.

For information on the event, phone Ant Pursell on 9755 4037.
