Join tradition of fun, fireworks and best of region

The Busselton Show will be going ahead come rain, hail or shine this weekend, and Southern Districts Agricultural Society president Wally Lord guarantees it will be a good time for everyone no matter what.
The show’s theme for 2019 is “keeping tradition alive” as it gears up for its big milestone: the 160th in 2020.
Churchill Park Showgrounds will come alive with trade stalls and entertainment, while the pavilions will be packed with exhibitors competing for prizes.
Sideshow alley opens at 5pm today, the fireworks will be set off at 8.30pm, and on Saturday a free children’s entertainment arena will be held in the centre of the oval.
Mr Lord encouraged the whole community, young and old, to turn out in droves and support the show.
“Come have a look at the event that we can put on right here in Busselton,” he said. “The show is a look through the window at the produce of the region and it is really just a fun day out for everyone.”
Gates open today at 4pm and the event runs from 9am-4pm on Saturday.
Entry is $15 for adults and $5 for juniors and concessions.
