Busselton Surf Life Saving Club’s young members are putting their hands and hoses to work this Sunday for their inaugural car wash fundraiser.

Car exteriors can be washed for $10.

The proceeds will support a range of cadet youth activities, such as interclub and Statewide competitions.

The club hosts several fundraising activities throughout the year, but youth co-ordinator Helen Rabjones said the younger members wanted to try something new leading into the new season.

“It’s our first time doing a car wash,” she said.

“It’s something a bit different and keeps the kids active in the community.”

Washing will take place from 10am to 2pm near the clubrooms at the foreshore.
