Marine Rescue Busselton is seeking people interested in becoming volunteer deck hands or radio operators.

It will hold information sessions this month for those considering joining the group.

The first will be on Thursday, January 25, at 6pm and the second on Saturday, January 27, at 9am.

They will both be held at Marine House on the corner of Georgette Street and Geographe Bay Road.

Each session will run for about 90 minutes and will include a tour of the facility and question and answer session.

Recruitment documents will be distributed at the end of each session to participants who would like to join the group.

Training and boat wear will be provided to volunteers after they achieve DFES approval.

People interested in attending the sessions are asked to call BMRG recruitment/liaison Graeme Woodthorpe on 0417 916 266.
