Budding young artists are invited to enter Vasse MLA Libby Mettam’s annual Christmas card design competition.

For the third year in a row, the Member for Vasse will feature the winning artwork on her 2018 Christmas card.

“Every year I send Christmas cards to hundreds of people across the region and State,” she said.

“We have a lot of great talent and skill, so this is a way of showcasing that.”

Year 2 and 3 students living in the electorate of Vasse (Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup and Cowaramup) are asked to create a DL size card based on the theme “what Christmas means to you”.

As well as having their artwork shared far and wide, the winner will receive a $50 book voucher and a $100 voucher for their school.

Three runners-up will win a $25 book voucher each.

Entries close on November 2 and forms can be picked up from u2/16 Prince Street, Busselton or by emailing renae.soutar @mp.wa.gov.au.
