Capecare residential aged care facility has this week announced the appointment of its new chief executive officer Elizabeth Hogarth.

The last four months have seen Ms Hogarth act in the role of chief executive to provide key assistance and leadership.

Ms Hogarth was formally appointed to the position for her level of expertise, knowledge and skills since joining the facility in 2017.

Capecare chair Nadine Carter said Ms Hogarth was an exceptional leader and had provided extraordinary clinical and operational management.

“She has developed a solid reputation for her collaborative leadership style and for building high performance clinical and business support teams,” Ms Carter said.

“As chief operating officer, she lead the implementation of new aged care reforms and commissioning planning for Capecare’s new fully-integrated Dunsborough facility.”

Ms Hogarth said she was fortunate to be at the forefront of an organisation with strong community values and rich heritage.
