The 2019 Busselton Jetty Crew youth leadership program participants graduated on Monday night at a special ceremony held at the Busselton Visitor Centre.

The Jetty Crew is an initiative to give the younger generation a connection to the Busselton Jetty by exploring the marine ecosystem and learning about jetty projects.

Serenah Whittle said she enjoyed being part of the crew because she met like-minded people who wanted to protect the environment.

Lilly Henley said she particularly enjoyed undertaking her diving qualification.

“Earlier in the year we got to do some activities, going to the Dolphin Discovery Centre, Forest Adventures and movie nights, which were really fun,” she said.
