Dunsborough police are seeking community assistance with an investigation into a burglary in Dunsborough on Saturday night.

About 3.15am two men broke into Southwest Outdoor Power and stole a Stihl MS661C-M chainsaw valued at $2099.

One man was wearing ski or motocross goggles, a hooded jumper and tracksuit pants and the other was wearing Adidas shoes and a backpack with distinctive brand markings, pictured.

Dunsborough police Sgt Jane Gillham said anyone with information should contact police immediately.

“We are interested in getting information in relation to the distinctive items they had with them that may lead to an identification of the offenders,” she said.
