Busselton police seized more than $40,000 worth of stolen property last week, taken from development sites and houses under construction in Busselton over the past three weeks.

Acting officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Vaughan Mackay said police successfully executed a search warrant leading up to the Easter weekend and one male was facing further charges.

“The property stolen was from houses under construction and there were multiple offences over a three-week period,” he said.

“The property recovered was mostly household white goods, gas cookers, water systems and commercial products.”

Sen Snt Mackay said residents should report any suspicious activity in their area directly to police.
