Busselton Senior High School, Bess and the City of Busselton will host a Reconciliation Day event on Sunday at the courtyard at ArtGeo Cultural Complex.

Students from the high school have designed jumpers that will be available for free on a first in best dressed bases, with jumpers in sizes suited for children to adults.

There will be a free barbecue by BESS and the Yoka Yaaginy ladies group and cultural activities have been organised.

The event has been made possible by a grant from the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and Choose Respect.

The cultural activities will include a book reading by Aboriginal Elder Ian Wallam and free copies of his book will be given away as prizes.

Sunday’s event will run from 1pm to 4pm at the courtyard in the ArtGeo Cultural Complex on Queen Street in Busselton.
