A cast-iron Busselton post box designed in the ornate circular “Brussels-style” design — the only of its kind in WA — has been heritage listed.

Made in New South Wales in 1891 by W. Taylor, Paragon Foundry, the post box was last week among four boxes across the State added to the State Register of Heritage Places.

The box, on the corner of Queen and Adelaide streets, has stood the test of time, with South West MLC Adele Farina saying it was fitting that it be heritage listed.
