Riders set to hit the dirt for Capel 200

Busselton Dunsborough Times

South West off-road motorcyclists will hit the tracks for the 41st annual Capel 200 Trail Bike Rally on Saturday, June 30.

The rally provides a safe and non-competitive event for riders of all levels and experiences, offering the opportunity for riders to use existing trails in the Capel-Jarrahwood area without the pressure of competi-tion.

Organised by the Ironstone Adventure Riding Club and supported by partners Healthway, Yamaha and the Shire of Capel, the event will start and finish at the Ironstone property, west of Ironstone Falls on the Capel-Donnybrook Road.

Event organiser Rob Harvey said the club put a lot of effort into designing a safe and sustainable course, which would avoid major roads and interfaces with public traffic.

He said the course was also alternated annually to avoid overuse.
