Songbird Sings Sinatra is the Livelighter Busselton Fringe show by Scottish singer Emma Louise Nisbet, to be performed at Weld Theatre on March 2 at 7pm.

The Acting Up musical theatre and drama teacher was musical director and choreographer of the recent sell-out production of The Sound of Music.

Known for her rousing renditions of songs by well- known divas, musical theatre stars and rock legends, this year Nisbet is excited to cover the unforgettable songs of ol’ blue eyes, Frank Sinatra.

Performing classics such as My Way; I Get a Kick Out Of You; and New York, New York, Nisbet said she wanted to bring a level of nostalgia to the show.

“I want to transport some of the older spectators back to their youth,” she said.

“Singing is an emotional release and I want the audience to come with me on a journey.”

Nisbet has sold out shows at Busselton Fringe in the past two years, showing off her vocal range with abundant local support. “I was introduced to Sinatra through other artists but he’s one of the classics for his stage presence,” she said.
