Sleep with the fishes at the jetty’s end
If night fishing isn’t enough to satisfy your nocturnal marine desires the Busselton Jetty is offering a chance to stay overnight in the Underwater Observatory.
The competition is open for entrants who buy an Underwater Discovery Tour ticket before September 25.
Busselton Jetty Inc chief executive Lisa Shreeve said the opportunity arose because of an influx of visitors from Perth choosing not to spend money on tours and attractions and many locals chasing the sun by travelling north.
“Busselton Jetty is trying to encourage people to visit Busselton and the Underwater Observatory during winter,” she said.
“We thought that adding a competition that’s a money-can’t-buy experience would entice people to come down south and enjoy our unique marine life, which is still visible in winter, rather than going up north.”
Busselton Jetty Underwater Discovery Tour tickets are available online or in-store.
