Talent quest proves hit

Saturday saw the Sea Garden Cafe partner with Natasha Birch Events to bring the first ever South West Talent Quest to the Margaret River region.
The semi final saw local talents prepare short performances, from music through to puppet shows, which were presented over four heats.
Event manager Natasha Birch said the Talent Quest had been an overwhelming success with tough competition.
“We can’t believe the level of skill and showmanship we've seen on display over the past four heats.”
“It’s been so joyful to be able to provide a platform for the youngsters in the SW region to perform their craft in front of their community,” Ms Birch said.
The voted winners for the semi final were singer Indi Marsh and singer-songwriters Estella Melville and Charlotte Gronow who will move through to the grand final on September 26.
The event grand final winners are set to take home generous prizes of up to $400.
