Teen motorcyclist killed in collision with tree

A 17-year-old boy has died after his motorbike hit a tree near Dunsborough.

The crash happened on Fern Road in Eagle Bay at about 5.15pm yesterday.

Police believe the motorcycle left the road and struck a drainage culvert, before hitting a tree.

The young rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to Busselton Hospital but he could not be revived.
