The City of Busselton announces its commitment to new business and industry grant funding

The City of Busselton has announced a new grant funding that supports economic development and marketing initiatives delivered by stakeholder groups, which has been developed through the city’s business development, events and marketing program. The new grant funding is available under two streams. Economic development initiatives — supporting priorities identified in the City of Busselton’s Economic Development Strategy 2022-27. Marketing initiatives — supporting initiatives that improve the visitor experience within the City of Busselton and strengthen the Busselton regional brand. The total funding pool is $270,000 for 2023-2024 and the first round opens on September 1. “A strategic priority of the City is to assist and provide for the region’s sustainable economic development,” Busselton Mayor Grant Henley said. “Providing this new grant funding will increase growth opportunities for our diverse industries and business community.” Detailed information is available on The City of Busselton website or contact the economic development team at economicdevelopment@busselton.wa.gov.au
