Tournament entries still open

Busselton Dunsborough Times

The Busselton Tennis Club will host its first tournament for the season on Sunday with a strong field already entered for the mixed handicap doubles.

Entries are still open for the event and players will be drawn into partnerships to play four or five matches in a round robin draw which will begin at midday on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the junior Game Face program is on again this afternoon, running every Friday for the remainder of the school term. Young players and their parents are encouraged to take part in the sessions from 4pm.

Club members were also treated to a Hopman Cup trophy visit last weekend.

The trophy is on a Statewide tour in anticipation of the tournament’s 30th anniversary.
